Privacy policy

The short version: we don't track you, we don't set cookies and we don't ask you to sign up. Here is exactly what data does move when you use the site.

  • US state licences
  • FCA-registered (UK)
  • Visa · Mastercard · Apple Pay

CryptoGeorgia.guide is a reading site. There are no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up, no comment section and no advertising trackers. We don’t set cookies, so there’s no cookie banner to click through. This page explains the few places where data does move, so you can judge for yourself.

What we don’t collect

  • No accounts or logins. You never give us a name, password or phone number to read the site.
  • No cookies. The site doesn’t set any cookies, first-party or third-party.
  • No ad tracking or profiling. We don’t use advertising pixels, tracking scripts or fingerprinting, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
  • No wallet connections. Nothing on the site asks you to connect a crypto wallet, sign a message or enter a seed phrase. If a page ever appears to, it isn’t us.

Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t send your address to a font provider.

Live rates in the converters and calculators

Some pages include a converter or fee calculator that shows current prices. To get them, your browser — not our server — requests public data directly from two sources:

SourceWhat it providesWhat it sees
CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com)Crypto prices in USD and GELA standard web request from your browser, including your IP address
National Bank of Georgia (nbg.gov.ge)Official USD and EUR rates to the lariA standard web request from your browser, including your IP address

The amounts you type into a calculator stay in your browser; they’re not sent anywhere. The rates your browser receives are cached in your browser’s sessionStorage for five minutes so the page doesn’t fetch them again on every click. sessionStorage is cleared when you close the tab, and it isn’t a cookie. If either source can’t be reached, the page falls back to a snapshot of rates built into the site and labels it with its date.

CoinGecko and the National Bank of Georgia handle those requests under their own privacy policies.

Server logs

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages may record standard technical information for each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. That information is used only to keep the site running and secure, not to identify or follow individual readers.

Our guides link to regulators, exchanges, payment networks and other sources. Once you leave this site, the other site’s privacy policy and cookies apply. We don’t control what those sites collect, so check their policies before signing up anywhere.

When you email us

If you write to contact@cryptogeorgia.guide, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply and, if your message is a correction, to check and fix the page. We don’t add you to any mailing list, and we don’t share your message with the companies you mention unless you ask us to. If you want us to delete your correspondence, say so in an email and we will.

Please don’t send passport scans, seed phrases, private keys or bank details. We never need them.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes — for example, if we ever added analytics — we will update this page before the change goes live. Questions about privacy can go to the same address via the contact page. See also our disclaimer and about page.
